Man great book!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I remembering buying the book, and i brought it home and about 30 pages into the book, it had a plethora of information in it, the relaxation techniques worked, and i swore to god that i almost had an OBE experience, it wasn't scary as i had thought , but since it was my first time i think i lost my concentration, (i skipped a few pages to see that part real quick) But it is definantly worth the money, hell it's worth it's weight in GOLD,SILVER,COPPER, and anything valuable to the equation, in laymen's terms JUST BUY THE BOOK!

I now want to remember my dreams
At first I was scared, but Craig's book made me relize that there is nothing to be scared of. He showed me how to look at my dreams from another perspective. To ask what does this dream teach me. He teaches ways to help, like how to use the ink blots and he gives examples. The imaginary friend method and we must not forget the drink water before you go to bed method. I never knew that it could be this fun or this easy. It used to scare me. Now, I look forward to dreaming and remembering my dreams. I am so amazed when I look back on my dream diary...the things that I have drempt, and what they now mean to me. I have learned much from this book, and if I can, you can. I am looking forward to buying and learning from his other books too!

One of Helm's best adventures
America's answer to James Bond finds himself on a mission with a personal side. When his ex-wife calls on him to protect his family, he finds himself involved with drug-smuggling mobsters and a Russian agent on the outs with the KGB. Hamilton weaves an engrossing tale, contrasting the former Beth Helm with the mobster's young daughter. Irony abounds when Helm finds that Beth left him because of his violent past and ended up marrying a former mob enforcer. Get it, read it, cherish it. They don't write them like this any more.

Action packed adventure with Matt Helm at his best.
Matt Helm receives an urgent call for help from his ex-wife, Beth. Matt goes to the rescue of Beth and his kids only to find that wiley old Mac is once again up to his tricks. Matt soon finds himself involved with a gangster, his sexy daughter, and a Russian agent named, "Martell." But the bad guys are no match for Matt as the action gets tough and fast-paced. This is one great Donald Hamilton book!

You won't like the way I fight!
John Parrish went west to recover from a civil war wound. He runs up against a big ranch owner (Wilkison) and his gunfighter/foreman when they try to force him to sell his ranch for little to nothing. Wilkerson has him burned out and Parrish fights back -- but not like they expected. Wilkerson finds he has a tiger by the tail and doesn't know how to let go. Even the movie was good, unlike those Hollywood did for Matt Helm. This is a top-notch, Hamilton book.

Well-written western (oxymoron?).
An early hamilton work, the story involves an eastern-born civil war veteran come to the west to heal. He interacts with a selection of stock western types, gets the girl(s) and triumphs responsibly. Well-drawn characters, accurate history and geography, precise ballistics and gun lore. There is even a sex scene that is neither purple nor victorian. This book deserves another printing, as do the other hamilton westerns.

Survivor

Authors: Reza Fazeli and N. K. Hamilton
Average review score:

Fast-paced action with timely theme
The story of Mr. Fazeli's escapes from the powers in Iran is compelling, especially in this day of terror on our doorstep. The book may focus on Iranian militants, but fanatics are not limited to one country or one people. Written in what is often called "faction", reality with fictional overtones, Mr. Fazeli's tale allows us to glimpse a man not altogether appealing to the Western reader, a man who admits his mistakes, but who remains chauvanistic to the end.

In spite of this, I found my sympathies engaged and I wanted to know what happened next. These rank as appealing qualities for my leisure reading and I would recommend this book not only to those looking for vicarious adventure, but also for readers who wish to glean insight into the workings of another culture and the mind of one of its sons, especially a son who attained celebrity status within that culture.

EXCELLENT
I just could not put it down... in addition to making the reader aware of the history of the region and the atrocities that have been committed by the current islamic terrorist regime in Iran, we are gripped by the amazing course of events that consitute Reza Fazeli's life.

Fazeli and Hamilton hypnotize the reader with the story of one man's life. I just could not put the book down asking breathlessy... what next? until the final page...

A must read for anyone who wants to learn more about politics and the theocracy that terrorizes the middle east and in particular - Iran

This Is the Ocean

An Ocean of Information for the Very Young
Have you ever tried to explain the water cycle to little ones who ask where does the rain comes from? Kersten Hamilton has taken this sometimes confusing subject and made it easy for youngsters to understand, taking them through the process step by step. Her rhyming text, full of imagery and expressive detail, begins with the ocean and the bright sun that raises a mist to the sky and continues on to clouds and rain, explaining each step until the water from rivers and streams slips back into the ocean to begin the cycle all over again. Lorianne Siomades bold, colorful illustrations are charming and add just the right touch. Perfect for children 3-7, This is the Ocean is a fascinating and engaging picture book.

The Water Cycle explained for the young.
This is the Ocean is a readable fun journey through the water cycle. It is an excellant resource for anyone teaching the young about how water moves from the ocean to the clouds to the rivers and back to the ocean. It is written in lyric poetry, almost a song of water. The illustrations are simple, bright and engaging. I would recommend this book not only to school teachers but to all the other important teachers in a child's life.

Through the Grapevine: World Tales Kids Can Read & Tell
Published in Hardcover by August House Pub (October, 2001)
Authors: Martha Hamilton, Mitch Weiss, and Carol Lyon

Grapevine Will Impress
This is my favorite of the Hamilton and Weiss books. Through the Grapevine... is one of our family favorites! My children find the stories appealing not just once, but many times over. They read, tell, and make puppet shows out of these tales.

These tales are perfect for a school storytelling festival. So often children can't find good tales to tell on their own. This is a great resource for teachers; assign one story to each child, to read and tell. Each child has an equal chance to create a really wonderful telling. Solid plots are offered as well as proper story form teaching children to have a beginning, middle, and end. They even offer a bit of coaching for each tale so teachers can learn what to look for and suggest. Kids can do it themselves with this format or as a team.

I first bought this book for myself. Good storytellers are always looking for great plots to expand and tell. Hamilton and Weiss even tell you to add your own voice or develop your own way of telling these stories. They explain what culture the tales come from and offer a great bibliographic resource.

The illustrations compliment the stories. Looking at the picture before each story can help children feel familiar with the tale before reading it. Judging the book by the cover made me want to dive right in.

I really use this book!

A recommended pick for families as well as small groups
Through The Grapevine is a recommended pick for families as well as small groups: storytellers Hamilton and Weiss provide over thirty world tales geared to reading aloud - by kids. Kids are encouraged to add drama and personality to the stories, which represent over twenty countries and traditions around the world. An excellent guide for budding young drama students.

Time for America: Hamilton Watch, 1892-1992

Definitive Study of the History of Hamilton Watches
Don Sauers does an amazing job of historical research on Hamilton Watches. If you have a question about any aspect of the company, its efforts, reasoning, or products, Don answers it in his text. As a researcher of 1970 vintage LED watches, Don's book was instrumental in my research of their involvement in early LED watches and their Pulsar line of watches. This is a "must book" to be in your watch history library.

A must read for watch and history buffs
Don Sauers book deals not only with the history of a great American company, Hamilton Watches, but tells a great deal also about the building of this country.Sauers starts this book out with how tragedy created the need for dependable time keeping and how American ingenuity answered the call.We get a precise history of the Hamilton Watch Company, its development and the people who ran it and worked there. We also find out about its role in America's Wars. This book also includes interesting company photos,as well as some in color detailing Hamilton Watch styles through the years. All in all a fascinating read for watch or history buff alike.

To Bear Any Burden: The Vietnam War and Its Aftermath in the Words of Americans and Southeast Asians (Vietnam War Era Classics Series)
Published in Paperback by Indiana University Press (01 April, 1999)
Authors: Al Santoli, Jane Hamilton-Merritt, and Al Santoli
Average review score:

Superb! Riveting!
Al Santoli's book, To Bear Any Burden, is a narrative of stories told by 47 Americans, Vietnamese (both North and South), and Cambodians regarding their experiences before the US involvement, during the US war, and the war's aftermath (after the departure of US troops). Each tale (from two to 10 pages in length) is riveting in itself. The book moves in relative chronilogical order beginning in 1954 and concludes with the present (circa 1985). Each tale is successfully interwoven with the next story such that there is a cohesiveness and a logical flow to the story telling timeline.

Some of the stories are quite stunning: from the description of US soldiers being called baby-killers and spat on after they returned to the US [difficult to comprehend in this patriotic post 9/11 world] to the horror stories of the Communist regimes in Cambodia and in North/South Vietnam after the fall of Saigon [after reading theses stories, one should question why the US would want to establish ties to Vietnam].

This "straight from the hip" narrative is recommended to anyone wishing to learn more about the scenes from a participant's point of view.

A "must-read" classic of America's involvement in SE Asia
I first read To Bear Any Burden when it was originally released in 1985. This has been a 'must-read' classic of American involvement in Southeast Asia since it was published. For it, Santoli interviewed, in depth, 47 individuals representative of that involvement from 1945 into the 1980s--Americans, Viet-Namese (communists and anti-communists), Cambodians and Laotians. The book is so artfully compiled as to flow like a single narration; yet the 'cast of characters' are separate in time, space, culture and social rank--an entire spectrum from ambassadors to villagers, soldiers to politicians, in one volume. No ones education about the Viet-Nam War is complete unless they've read this book.

Australian Institute of Management Review
A Book Review from Management Today

A Publication of the Australian Institute of Management July, 1998 Transforming Leadership-Second Edition Authored by Terry D. Anderson, Ph.D.

Boldly re-entering a market presently congested with leadership tomes, this new edition of the definitive executive and management self-development book stands well above the majority. An examination of how leadership development has a truly profound effect on the morale and performance of individuals, teams and organizations, this book has been written both as a text for students and educators, and a reference for managers, consultants, executive coaches and mentors, and aspiring executives. It is perhaps the only book of its kind that provides an overarching model for leadership development; or a guide for developing curriculum that targets-specifically and simultaneously-the means for creating the strongest influence on organizational and personal effectiveness.

The author's innovative conceptual contribution to the literature of leadership is his focus on how it is necessary to build a leadership organization before-and to an extent while-you move ahead into building a "learning organization". In this second edition he tackles this issue squarely with an emphasis on the importance of the role of executive and leader.
